With Penelope Keith, Christine Rose. A documentary series exploring the lives of servants and masters in modern day society. The cameras follow the action for a period of two weeks. For the first week one family acts as the servants for the other family in the own home. For the second week the roles of the families are reversed.   The British census of found that million girls and women worked as domestic servants in Victorian England. They were usually recruited between the ages of 10 after they had been through some elementary schooling. Many employers hoped for the servants they hired to have at least some elementary literacy and numeracy.

Page 44 - Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren ; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit.   Masters and servants I've mentioned the book Average Is Over before. I've had the book in my hands for a while now, but haven't managed to get very far. I've instead been reading Last Ape Standing and watching season 4 of The Mentalist (yeah, I know, but when it's cold and dark you want some escapism). Plus, the arguments are so familiar by now.
